Nationally recognized consumer advocate Tom Martino
launched his new fourth hour national radio talk show (“The
Troubleshooter”) format
today by focusing on the unique problems posed by divorce
and family law conflicts.
Tom related his positive personal experience with
mediation, and asked some hard questions about the divorce
legal process, including how divorce and
family law conflicts might be eased by choosing to work with
a family law or divorce mediator.
Larry (Divorce Resolutions®, Colorado Center for
Divorce Mediation™'s director Lawrence F. King, J.D.)
presented the mediator's perspective, joining Tom and local
Denver, Colorado divorce lawyer and family law attorney,
Bonnie Saltzman, Esq. Larry commented:
Obviously, divorce and family law disputes are unique in
their personal and often
painful emotional aspects. Nonetheless, many couples appreciate that their economic self-interest
requires them to act as prudent consumers — in making choices about their
divorce process, and the professionals they choose to assist
them with their divorce.
Mediation is increasingly
recognized as having substantial advantages in meeting
their separate and common interests in this regard.
